About Me
I am originally from the southern region of United States, but I am very much a “Third Culture Kid”. I grew up in a military family and attended schools in several states and all over the world. Even at my age, I am still proud to be called a "military brat." After living in Colorado for nearly two decades, my family and I made our way through the northwest finally landing in Washington State, and have called Seattle home since 2008.
Growing up as somewhat of a global nomad has contributed to my acceptance of different perspectives, my ability to be a keen observer of human nature, and my understanding that there’s a reason driving every attitude and behavior – no matter how strange it may seem. My southern sensibility combined with my multi-faceted outlook on the world also makes me a natural mediator and a fierce advocate.
Preceding my career as a professional counselor and consulting strategist, I had the honor of working briefly for the U.S. Department of State and as a contractor in the Middle East. I also gained business acumen helping to develop several start-ups from their infancy that have since been acquired by top technology companies.
I am also a creative, an outdoorsman, and enjoy technology, motorsports, mixed-martial arts training, and board sports.
My personal and professional experiences continually reinforce my desire to ensure that all my clients feel equally cared for no matter how they identify.
All are welcome.
